Misty Summers & High Tides

I have to say, I am in LOVE!

It isn't often that I design a crochet accessory.

But when asked to create an 80" long summer wrap for Interweave Crochet, I jumped at the opportunity and I am so glad I did.

This design, which has been named the cruising wrap, was inspired by San Francisco summer ~ high tides, windy days and the misty breeze brought about by the Pacific Ocean. (The coldest winter Mark Twain experienced was a summer in San Francisco.)

This design is also inspired by one of my most favorite wines; a rare Rhone red - Counoise, yum, yum. You can introduce yourself to special blends at Winc ~ find yourself some liquid inspiration! I stitch at night so most of my designs find some sort of inspiration from the grape. lol

The Cruising Wrap is worked in a repetition of 14 rows with fringe added to the edges. I love it in white - but the possibilities are endless imagine a red, white and blue wrap! L.O.V.E!

Pick up your copy of Interweave Crochet Summer 2018 and get to hookin'. I'll provide a proper review later, but should you find yourself in need/want, c'mon mostly it's want, of some new tools, check out what KnitCrate has to offer - I LOVE my tin and carry it with me EVERYWHERE I go!
